Clean your battery to prevent damage or breakdown!

Batteries consist of a positive and negative terminal. From time to time, batteries may generate a build up of corrosion on the terminal posts. This causes resistance. Resistance prevents the battery from performing correctly including its starting capability. It also causes additional load on the alternator causing the battery to remain less than fully charged and in some instances may cause damage to the alternator or battery it self.

Step 1: Clean your terminal posts with hot water, bicarb soda and a nail brush to stop the spread of corrosion.

Step 2: Apply corrosion protector to the battery terminal.

NOTE: It is best to disconnect the battery and clean the terminals inside and out for best repair. Seek information from your owners manual or professional help prior to attempt.
